Personal data are data about your person. These include your name, address and email address. You also do not have to reveal any personal data to visit our website. In some cases we need your name and address as well as further information to be able to offer you the desired service.
The same applies in the event that we supply you with informational material on demand or if we answer your enquiries. In these cases we will always point this out to you. Furthermore, we only store the data that you have transmitted to us automatically or voluntarily.

Automatically recorded data
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

These data are not combined with other data sources. Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 letter f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.
For reasons of technical security, in particular to prevent attempts to attack our web server, these data are temporarily stored by us. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons on the basis of this data. After seven days at the latest, the data is made anonymous by shortening the IP address at domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a reference to the individual user. The data is also processed in anonymous form for statistical purposes; it is not compared with other data stocks or passed on to third parties, even in excerpts. Only in the context of our server statistics, which we publish every two years in our activity report, a representation of the number of page views takes place.
Cookies
When you visit our website, we may store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files that are transferred from an Internet server to your browser and stored on its hard drive. Only the Internet protocol address is stored – no personal data. Google Analytics with anonymization add-on
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA (hereinafter “Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site.
The information generated by these cookies, such as the time, place and frequency of your visit to the website, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google in the USA and stored there.
We use Google Analytics on our website with the add-on “_gat._anonymizeIp”. In this case, Google will already reduce your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and thereby make it anonymous.

Google also offers a deactivation add-on for most popular browsers, giving you more control over what information Google collects about the websites you visit. The add-on informs Google Analytics’ JavaScript (ga.js) that no information about the website visit should be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, the deactivation add-on for browsers from Google Analytics does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analytics services that we may use.
If you visit our site via a mobile device (smartphone or tablet), you must click this link instead to prevent tracking by Google Analytics within this website in the future. This is also possible as an alternative to the browser add-on above. By clicking the link, an opt-out cookie is set in your browser that is only valid for this browser and this domain. If you delete the cookies in this browser, the opt-out cookie will also be deleted, so you will have to click the link again.
If you agree that Google will link your web and app browsing history to your Google Account and use information from your Google Account to personalize ads, Google will use your information with Google Analytics data to create cross-device remarketing targeting lists. To do this, Google Analytics first collects your Google Authenticated ID on our site, which is associated with your Google Account (personally identifiable information). Google Analytics will then temporarily link your ID to your Google Analytics data in order to optimize our target groups.

Newsletter
We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sending the newsletter, i.e. we will only send you a newsletter by email if you have expressly confirmed to us beforehand that we should activate the newsletter service. We will then send you a notification email and ask you to confirm that you would like to receive our newsletter by clicking on a link contained in this email. When you register for our newsletter, we save your IP address and the date of registration. This storage serves solely as proof in the event that a third party misuses your email address to register you without your knowledge or your authorization to receive the newsletter.
